The Company... Our long tradition relating to engines started in 1936 when Sterling "Bearing" began operations reconditioning babbitted connecting rods. As times and technology changed the company shifted production to crankshaft remanufacturing. In the early '70's Sterling began distributing parts and in 1975 introduced one of the first engine kits in the USA, BLOCKMASTER.

Sterling continued to operate a full-service machine shop and production crankshaft plant until 1994 when the company shifted all its resources to distributing engine parts and remanufactured engine components. In July of 1999 we opened a branch warehouse, Sterling Engine Parts, in Minneapolis, MN. In May 2009 we acquired a well-known engine parts specialist warehouse in Worcester, MA, New England Engine and Parts Warehouse. In September 2014 we opened a branch warehouse in Dania Beach, FL.
And in June, 2019, we opened our 5th branch in Pittsburgh, PA.

Our People... Our 30 employees have over 600 years of combined experience in the automotive industry. Our non-commissioned sales people are focused on providing our customers "sterling" service. We operated a machine shop for many years so we know how to provide engine builders with the right parts and service.

Our Inventory... Sterling manages 500,000+ part numbers from over 100 prime manufacturers. Parts are either on the shelf or we'll get them for you.
